MEDICAL LITERATURE ANALYTICS

In a race against time, medical practitioners and scientists are scrambling to find treatments and cures while drowning in a sea of published literature and scientific papers. The exponentially increasing volume of researches is making it extra challenging to break through the clutter and extract meaningful patterns.

Manga Solutions, spearheaded by Mike Honey, is participating in a global collective effort in enabling the medical research community to accelerate the pace of discovery by applying technological ingenuity and innovation. A transformative and sustainable AI-driven automated search engine is just the beginning of a new era in the world of scientific literature.

A NEW ERA OF

AI-POWERED DRIVEN  LITERATURE REVIEW

CoronaWhy features an Open Source

AI-Powered “Literature Review Discovery Engine,” one of the dashboards produced and visualized by Mike. Its primary objective is to alleviate the workload of medical practitioners and expedite the efficient review and navigation of

COVID-19 related literature in real-time.

It is based on the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) and scispaCy models designed to analyze medical and scientific texts for Named-entity Recognition (NER). The NER algorithm and other data attributes are matched with the input texts to produce interactive and intuitive visualizations.
